Disable Taskbar Thumbnails and Always Show List View in Windows 7/10

When using an overabundance of open applications during the typical work day,  the taskbar becomes beyond cluttered.  Notable culprits include Outlook and Lync / Skype.  Not consolidating thumbnails to list views based on a function of screen width is a massive productivity killer.  This registry entry disables thumbnails all together on the taskbar and always displays a jumplist.
